As a youngster, one of Bill's all-time favorite racing heroes was Sir
Stirling Moss, easily one of the greatest sports car champions in history.
At the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in Monterey, CA, Bill finally had the thrill of meeting and chatting with the legendary racer.
In March of 2006, Bill was asked by drag racing legend Shirley Muldowney to be her presenter at her induction into the International
Drag Racing Hall of Fame in Ocala, Florida.
Shirley has become a very good friend to Bill and his family, and it was an immense honor to present the three-time NHRA Top Fuel
champion before the enthusiastic audience assembled to witness the occasion.
Moments after her induction, she posed with Bill.
In 2002, the "King of Speed", Kenny Bernstein retired after a legendary drag racing career.
At the 2002 NHRA POWERade Awards Ceremonies at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, CA, Bill served as the evening's Master of Ceremonies and offered his
congratulations to a great driver and friend.
Bill has had the pleasure of meeting, interviewing, and developing a friendship with his boyhood idol, Carroll Shelby.
At the NHRA's AC Delco Nationals at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2003, Bill was covering the event for ESPN and ran into the
renowned sports car racer and builder.
At the 50th Anniversary NHRA US Nationals, the sport's most prestigious event, Bill conducted a series of special interviews with
some of the biggest names in NHRA history.
Here he is on the remote set with Don "The Snake" Prudhomme, one of the greatest drag racers of all time.

As top end reporter for ESPN's coverage of NHRA drag racing, Bill was a welcome sight for racers climbing from their racecars —
since an interview usually followed a victory.
Here's Bill with 2005 NHRA Funny Car champion Gary Scelzi.
Covering NHRA drag racing is an experience that any true motorhead, like Bill, would consider the ultimate.
Bill's interviews are consistently upbeat, such as this one with Top Fuel star Brandon Bernstein at the prestigious NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, CA.
One of Bill's closest friends in motorsports is 14-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force.
Here's Bill in John's pit area at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL with (L to R), John's daughter Ashley, now racing her own nitro
Funny Car, John and team driver Robert Hight.
In 1995, Bill founded and organized the Father's Day Main Street Car
Show on Cape Cod.
It now attracts over 300 special interest vehicles from all over the Northeast, which are displayed along both sides of Main
St. in Hyannis.
Between 30,000 and 40,000 spectators flock to the show every Father's Day, making it one of the largest single-day events on Cape Cod.
Bill has been an avid exhibitor of his various show-quality collector cars for a long time. His Shelby Cobra received several awards at a recent
World of Wheels event at Boston's Bayside Exposition Center.
Over the years, Bill's participation as a racer and collector car exhibitor has earned him a rather extensive array of awards.
Here are a few of them.
